The performance will include a variety of contemporary and classic jazz arrangements. Among the selections to be featured will be "Wyrgly," Maria Schneider's programmatic musical depiction of a monster that she had a dream about. Other pieces include "Tow Away Zone" (Thad Jones), "Roll 'Em" (Mary Lou Williams), "Hunting Wabbits" (Gordon Goodwin), "Coisa numero 1" (Moacir Santos), and others. The jazz ensemble includes seniors Bradley Dow, Audrey Gibson, and Nick Kloor; juniors Jaewoo Han, Sam Lawyer, Jordan Shaevitz, and Ian Wolossow; sophomores Cam Benedix, Maeve Reichert, Ivy Tollefsen, and Kai Ward; and first-years Elizabeth Barnes, George Burke, John Coffin, Zayd Curtis, Pete Heyboer, Maxwell Johnson, Everett Lethem, Jason Lin, John Schaal, and Ytamar Solomon.
