A Kenyon College education provides all students with experiential, immersive learning opportunities through community-engaged learning courses, collaborative research, internships and volunteering. These high-impact experiences put classroom learning in conversation with real-world issues, promote mutual understanding and respect with the larger community, and prepare students to be engaged citizens and leaders of the world.
The Office for Community Partnerships facilitates collaborative engagement between Kenyon College, Knox County and beyond. With an emphasis on reciprocity, the OCP orchestrates the sharing of resources and development of experiential learning opportunities for students, faculty, staff and community partners. By intentionally linking traditional learning with civic engagement, the OCP strives to enhance the liberal arts experience and encourage engaged scholarship, while simultaneously strengthening Kenyon’s relationship with the surrounding community.
