As an event planner, you can create experiences that are not just accessible, but welcoming. Good design is a process. Any progress toward inclusion is a success!

Accessible events benefit not only individuals with visible or known disabilities but also help to ensure that all participants/attendees, including individuals with non-obvious disabilities and/or chronic health conditions and people of all ages and body types, can fully engage 黄瓜精品program.

Access can only be fully realized as interchange borne of interdependency and does not come from the top down or from a checklist. When we design together and not for, we ensure that programming is planned with the full and direct participation of individuals affected by programming. The environment that often includes poor design is the cause of disablement, not the individual. Disability is a natural part of human variation and an aspect of diversity. Access and inclusion are a matter of social justice. Creating accessible, and inclusive environments is a shared responsibility.

“Accessibility is not just a set of physical things that are put into place, but a living language that speaks to who society decides to value based on who they allow into the public sphere. Should access not be created, you have spoken to that value system.” - Imani Barbarin
