"Cross-listed" courses are those that may be found under two or more departments or programs — for diversification purposes — such as ENVS 112 being paired with biology for natural science diversification or AMST 109 being paired with an art history course for fine arts diversification (see listing). For example, ENVS 112 is listed under environmental studies and AMST 109 is listed under American studies. Remember to keep your descriptions as general as you can so you do not have to change the description when you tweak the course content.
